Hollywood actor Heath Ledger, who died on Tuesday at the age of 28, was naked in bed when he died, contrary to reports suggesting that he was found on the floor.Emergency workers reportedly placed him on the floor in an attempt to resuscitate him.
A police official says there were pill bottles scattered around the apartment.
A rep from Heath’s family denied that the actor took his own life. Police told the family his death was accidental and there is no evidence to support rumors he may have committed suicide.
The family have been left distraught over media reports that suggest he may have killed himself. The family says he was not that kind of person.
Heath Ledger was sick with pneumonia when he died, according to TMZ.
Actress Lindsay Lohan was reportedly left devastated when she found out about Heath’s untimely death. The two were “very close” for some time.
