Atlanta Tornado

Atlanta Tornado - A tornado has struck downtown Atlanta leaving extensive damage to a sporting complex and surrounding buildings. Injuries are reported although details at this hour are sketchy.

A college basketball game in the SEC Basketball Tournament was stopped as a result at the Georgia Dome. Two large holes were left in the roof by the tornado as refuse scattered over the court, players and fans. The scoreboard swayed dangerously back and forth. The game between Alabama and Mississippi State was suspended while in overtime. Read much more here.

Update 11:25pm EST: At least 20 homes were flattened and lots of downed trees are being reported. Most of the damage is in south Coweta County near Atlanta. People are reportedly trapped in homes, buildings, and elevators.

In particular, the musical kur performance of Denmark's Andreas Helgstrand's Blue Hors Matine's freestyle dressage performance at the World Equestrian Games in August 2006 and, two months later, the amazing bareback-and-unbridled reining freestyle at the '06 Quarter Horse Congress by natural horsewoman extraordinaire, Stacy Westfall riding Whizard's Baby Doll, also known as "Roxy".Thanks to that widely emailed YouTube video clip, Westfall has been invited to demonstrate her amazing art of horsemanship to a worldwide television audience on “The Ellen Degeneres Show.”One of those emails happened to land in the inbox of talk show host/comedienne Ellen Degeneres. Producers from the show contacted Stacy and then aired that video clip of the Congress bareback-bridleless routine during Ellen's February 28th show. The clip linked to this blog post is from that show, but Stacy's on to bigger and better things, just two weeks later.Stacy and Whizards Baby Doll will now appear on the Ellen Degeneres show in person!A video crew from the Degeneres show will videotape a demonstration ride tomorrow at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center at Griffith Park in Burbank, outside Los Angeles. The Cutting Edge 1, 2 And 3 - The Cutting Edge your all-time favorite movie quotes franchise is basically taking over ABC Family this weekend. The reason: the opening of the third (yup, third) movie in the sequence, The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream, which airs Sunday nighttime.

By now, you know the basic story. This time, it's hot skating bachelor Zack Conroy (Matt Lanter) who brings a hockey player Alejandra "Alex" Delgado (Francia Raisa) into the figure-skating fold after his former partner — and, naturally, ex-girlfriend — breaks her leg. I assume gold medals and whiffs of romance ensue. Oh, and their coach this time is none other than Jackie Dorsey (Christy Carlson Romano), star of The Cutting Edge 2 and the daughter of the couple from the first Cutting Edge. Way to keep it in the family!

Like all Cutting Edge movies, I'm expecting the third installment to be awesomely over-the-top.
