Jennifer McNamara Killed - An MSNBC technical operation staffer Jennifer McNamara was strike and killed by a trash truck on Tuesday night after leaving work, where she had contributed to MSNBC's main night coverage. According to the news 29-year-old Jennifer McNamara was struck around 2:30amET while crossing the road at West 50th St. and Seventh Ave., just a block from Rockefeller Center.
A colleague emailed TVNewser, writing, Jennifer McNamara "should be recognized and remembered for the wonderful person she was. She will be greatly missed by the Tech Staff."
The Daily News reports McNamara was from Charlotte, NC which is home to NBC's associate news service, NBC News channel. We're told Dan Abrams will state McNamara's passing on his show tonight.
